My Lucky Creations is available for people who do not have the time, energy, or the ability to create lasting memories on their own.  This site is designed to showcase completed work as well as give you ideas for future projects you would like to request.

I am dedicated to work in a timely fashion to make sure I meet your deadlines.  I will give you quality work and hand-made crafts that satisfy your wants and needs.  All of the supplies I use are reliable and if treated well, will last for years to come. You can be as involved as you want, or participate as little as you wish, just know I am happy to work with you either way.

Scrapbooking is an expensive hobby, but it is worth it when you want to put your memories into something you can keep forever.  Due to the variety of projects and individual desires, the cost for each item will vary.  I ask for a consultation for each piece of work to ensure quality at an appropriate rate.  Once you have made your request, I will contact you with an estimate of how much the total project will cost you.  I look forward to working with you and helping you preserve your shoebox full of memories!

Announcements

An announcement is a public or formal notice containing a declaration of an event.

Announcements are sent out to announce important, exciting news to all your friends and family in a fun, creative way.  Announcements can be funny, modern or even fancy.  In today’s world, the sharing of current news has become very digitized and now people often share news via email.  Formal announcements are a great keepsake for those who receive them and remind them of the day they heard that special news.

Announcements can come in any shape or size and can be for any occasion.  I can create an exciting announcement for the birth of a child as well as a childish theme for a graduation from sixth grade.  As with invites, I am able to send announcements out for you in their matching envelopes if I am given a list of the names and addresses.

Gift Ideas

There are many gifts that I can create as well.  These are gift ideas I have used in the past to create lasting memories for friends and family.  Hand-crafted items are not only fun to have, but fun to give away.  Below are a few ideas of gifts you may wish to order, but other ideas are certainly welcome!

Stationary: I have created stationary as a gift from one friend to another.  This stationary included monogrammed cards with a logo and a last name.  These cards were simple, yet elegant and each came with a matching monogrammed envelope.

Framed Photo Page: This is a great gift if there are one or two particular pictures you wish to showcase for another person.  For this, I usually use two pictures and a larger frame.  I decorate the matting around the photos as well as the frame itself with charms, trinkets, and quotes to emphasize the meaning of the photos.

Collage/Memory Board: There are many uses for a collage or memory board.  Those include weddings, graduations, as well as memorial services to honor loved ones.  For this, I usually use heavy duty poster board that stands up on its own and decorate that similar to a scrapbook page with a large amount of photos and quotes to match the theme.  These collages can be in any shape or size you wish.

Greeting Cards

Cards can come in all shapes and sizes.  It is important to remember that regular 4″ by 6″ cards travel best through the mail, however, a little extra postage may not be a big deal.  Cards can be tall and skinny or short and fat and do not always have to open from right to left, but can also open from the bottom.

There can be tri-fold cards, singe-fold cards or even postcards with just a front and a back.  Envelopes can be made to suit any card shape you choose.  You can choose the layout and theme of your card if you wish, or I am happy to do it for you.  You can be as involved as you want.

I can also make a variety pack of cards for you including various holidays and occasions such as birthdays, thank-you’s, get well’s, happy holidays, and congrats.

Invitations

An invitation is a written allurement to attract others to your event.

If you are having a party, I can make the perfect invitation to attract any guest.  Invites can be short and sweet, or more detailed and elegant.  I customize them to suit your wants and needs.  It is often important to include the Who, What, When and Where in the invite, but is also fun to add items such as Attire, Gift Registry or Information, and even whether or not this event will be a surprise.

If requested, and the names and addresses are provided, I will personally mail them out to your guests once you have approved of the creation.  In this case, I would mail you a sample of your invite and you can contact me with changes you wish to be made before mailing them out for your party.

Scrapbooks

A scrapbook is an album in which pictures and other momentos can be pasted to create some sort of collage.

I can design scrapbooks for any occasion.  Scrapbooks can be long, short, big or small.  Some scrapbooks are up to forty pages in length, but can also be found in a ten spread length.  Scrapbooks do not have to be 12″ by 12″, in fact there are many scrapbooks that are made in 8″ by 8″ or even 6″ by 6″.

It is important that you save memorabilia such as ticket stubs, maps and charms that match the theme for which you wish to have me scrapbook.  Those items can be placed on the same pages with the photos and quotes to ensure a lasting memory.

I usually purchase a blank scrapbook so I can decorate the cover to match the rest of the pages.  The scrapbooks that I buy all come with a protective sleeve to ensure that the cover will not be ruined.  I have a variety of themes, patterns, and tools to make each scrapbook unique and one-of-a-kind just for you.

Thank You Cards

Thank You cards are always a great way to let someone know how much you appreciate them.  Whether it be a “just because” or for a specific reason, I can personalize these cards as much or little as you want.  They are always a nice gesture.

Congratulations Cards

I can make congratulations cards to fit any special occasion a friend or family is celebrating, whether it be an anniversary, wedding, birthday, graduation, or promotion.  You name it, and I’ll create it!  These cards are always fun to give out to let someone know you are proud of them.

Birthday Cards

I can make birthday cards in any color, shape, or theme.  It is a great way to wish someone a happy birthday, even if you won’t make it to see them in person.  I will make these cards as fun, creative, and never-before-seen as possible to put a smile on the special birthday person’s face.

Get Well Cards

On more of a serious note, these cards are the true meaning of showing how much you care for someone.  I can make these cards as cheerful, or sympathetic as you may feel.  I can personalize these with any decorations you specify, such as that person’s favorite thing to do, or a memory you guys have shared in the past.
